Tug Davis Sea was one of the very few tugboats working in New York harbor on this cold gray Christmas Day 2006. Her twin Cummins diesels produce 2,000 horsepower, turning 6 foot diameter propellers. Built in 1982, she is 77 feet long, 26 feet wide, with a draft of 10 feet. The Davis Sea is owned & operated by K-Sea Transportation Partners LP.
