Nope, that's not Tug 44, it's actually Tug 43, in a chance encounter on the Hudson River just south of Troy Lock. Her name is Jenna Star and she was on her maiden voyage from the Great Lakes delivery point to her future home in Long Island. It was like looking in the mirror!

As you may have guessed, I'm a bit partial to Pilothouse Trawlers or Tugs. Or in the words of one of the folks at American Tugs, "I call other motor boats 'bleach bottles', they look about the same whether right-side-up or upside-down." Amen. |
