This is a marine weed harvester built by Aquamarine of Canada. It's basically a lawn mower to cut weeds in shallow areas. The weeds are cut off with snippers and automatically loaded into a storage area in the back for later unloading on land. The paddle wheel propulsion system is used to provide minimum draft, enabling the craft to get into the shallowest areas. This one and several others like it are being used on Lake Champlain to keep a clear path for navigation.
