McWilliam Covered Bridge
Grafton, VT

The McWilliam Covered Bridge is a 62 foot span crossing a branch of the Saxtons River in Grafton Vermont. It was built in 1967 by the Grafton Cheese Company.

The McWilliam Covered Bridge is relatively new, but it does utilize construction techniques used in other bridges in the area.

This is a modified kingpost design, suitable for smaller bridges like this.

This is the factory of the Grafton Cheese Company. The bridge is located at the back of their parking lot, as a very nice tourist trap enticing visitors to the Cheese Shop next door.
